PVA - GAS FILTER HOUSING
HIGH FLOW - Filter housing
Microorganisms, in addition to their size as living organisms, are able to multiply quickly and randomly under appropriate conditions. Therefore special demands will not only be put on the sterile filter element but also on the filter housing. The HIGH FLOW housing series have therefore been designed for critical applications.
High-quality stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304) and 1.4404 (AISI 316L), electropolished housing surfaces and the avoidance of corners and edges ensure the highest level of biological safety when sterilizing air and other pressurized gases.
HIGH FLOW housings are designed to direct the air or gas flow into the filter elements without turbulence. This results in the lowest possible pressure losses across the filter housing and filter element.
Features:
- CE marking according to Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) for fluid group 2 (fluid group 1 on request)
- "Click-Lock" system for element fixation by means of double O-ring and double bayonet to prevent bypasses
- Electropolished inner housing surface, no corners and edges to increase biological safety
- Manufactured from high quality stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304) and 1.4404 (AISI 316L) flow-optimised design with low pressure drops for economical and cost-effective filtration
- Low dead space volume
- Useable with sterile filter elements of the BIO-X II, HIGH FLOW BIO-X, TETPOR AIR and HIGH FLOW TETPOR II series, among others
- To be used with steam filter elements of the ZCSS and ZCHS series
- Available in almost all common connection sizes and connection types
- We recommend steam filter housings in 1.4404, with graphite tanged plate seal and housing clamp
