New Polestar PSE refrigeration dryer series with environmentally friendly refrigerant R513A

Use of the refrigerant R513A with a low GWP value of 613 in all units

Compared to the old Polestar PST range with the refrigerant R407C, the new Polestar PSE range with the refrigerant R513A reduces the GWP value by 64.5%. pure! thus makes an important contribution to climate protection.
  • The highly efficient SmartPack design, the electronically controlled hot gas bypass valve and the innovative micro-channel condensers result in a refrigerant circuit with lower power consumption and approx. 40% less refrigerant charge compared to conventional refrigerant dryer solutions.
  • The low pressure drop of the SmartPack design and the low power consumption of the refrigerant circuit make PoleStar Smart-E an extremely competitive solution with lower operating costs compared to similar dryers.
  • The energy-saving function enables the dryers to save energy at partial load by switching the refrigerant compressor to idle while the incoming compressed air continues to be cooled by the stored cooling reserves of the SmartPack heat exchanger's aluminium mass.
  • An electronic control system, including touch screen versions from the PSE 220 model upwards, provides key operating parameters relating to compressed air temperature, the potential-free alarm contact (4-20 mA), service reminder information, data logging, alarm history and control of the integral electronic condensate drain.
